I'm Leading a Very Boring Life

So. For the past 4 days I've been sitting in my dorm room doing absolutely NOTHING!! You would think I'd be enjoying my last few days of freedom, but I just can't find anything to do...

I got here on Friday, said bye to my momma (which was very sad..), unpacked about half my stuff, and went to bed...

Saturday- well I can't really remember Saturday. Oh wait, yes I can! My mom brought my little brothers down, and I showed them my dorm & took them around campus. Showed them the stadium, buuut, there was a game that day so they couldn't get as great of a view as I would have liked.. Then I went shopping with them for a little bit & said my sad goodbye's again!

Sunday I had my convocation thing, so I went to lunch with my RA & then headed down to stand for a half hour and then sit for an hour while being welcomed to UC for the umpteenth time. Then I just chilled out, ate mac & cheese (from the microwave...) and read. And I finished unpacking and doing some decorating... so at least my room doesn't look as boring as I do...

Todaaay, I got up & got a pumpkin spice from Starbucks & it was absolutely amazing. It's freakin' delicious and everybody should go try one, jus' sayin' ! And basically I've been sitting in my dorm room since. I was finally able to connect to the internet and seeing as how I've been internet deprived, that is where most of my energy has gone today! I did have my hall meeting at 7 & it was alright I guess... the view wasn't so bad (;

Now I'm sitting here, eating a mountain of pizza and surfing the net.... some more...
Tomorrow, I have my DAAP Day/Orientation and have to get up early... I suppose I'm going to breakfast with one of my suite mates and her friend, then heading over for a very long eventful & hopefully not boring and lame day!

Then, classes start wednesday & I only have one class- woooo, lol (:

Oh, and I have to buy a drafting chair before either wed. or thurs. not sure which.. soo, that should be tons of fun (...or not..).

Officially a Bearcat...

Well bloggers- I am offically a bearcat!! I'm almost all moved into my dorm, and (despite how small the room is....) it's not too shabby! If only there was room for a t.v. ... Classes start Wednesday, and I'll be on my 5 year journey to getting my degree. However... I am a momma's girl and I will be counting the days till I start to feel homesick; hopefully not too soon! Anyways...... I should probably finish getting the rest of my stuff together, instead of being on here... and facebook. Hopefully I will be getting back on later!

I am a TERRIBLE blogger...

Well, as my title says- I am a terrible blogger. My last post was basically a year ago. And honestly, I can't remember what any of them were about! After months of becoming way too stressed out and overwhelmed, I decided I needed to start blogging again. And this time I am going to stick with it! I will have to suck it up (and get off facebook) and blog at night. It is the only way I will ever become less stressed, because I actually like writing and it calms me down.

So, for starters... In the last year, I have graduated with honors from high school, made the Dean's List at college, turned 18, got accepted into DAAP at UC (which happens to be the nation's #1 school for interior design!), and went to Nationals for BPA for the second time. I must say it's been a pretty good year, but hard. In 3 days I will be moving into my dorm, and in 11 days classes start. We will just have to see how this goes!

Back to Blogging

Hello! I hope everyone can forgive me for being so lazy & not blogging... I just had jaw surgery on Friday & I'm still recovering. The surgery was not serious, but it seriously hurts! I never thought I'd see the day that I didn't eat or stopped smiling, wow! I'm feeling well enough to be on the computer... so I suppose that means I'm well enough to blog.

I believe that I'm obsessed with shopping, and.... is anyone else tired of waiting for Black Friday to get here?!? I'm about to go off my rocker. I'm going shopping with my grandmother that day, and I'm super pumped for it... I'm a sucker for deals, even if they aren't that great lol! I plan to get Christmas shopping done that day, but knowing myself... I won't get it done until AFTER Christmas haha. What is everyone's plans for Black Friday?
